We are currently seeking a candidate for the position of Editor for our Houston office.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following initiatives:
Editor to cover ethanol and biodiesel market for weekly newsletter.
-Responsibilities include writing and editing a weekly newsletter reporting on the biofuels industry. Cover breaking technology and policy news as well as the major players in the field. In addition, the newsletter offers a daily pricing update covering the rack, spot and future prices of ethanol and biodiesel.
-The ideal candidate will be able to write on a variety of topics -- from policy to financial news -- and have an ability to track market movements. He/she will be comfortable with business and technical jargon as well as with politics and policy matters. An eye for detail is important and familiarity with Excel is a plus.
Must have a journalism degree and at least five years field experience.
Newspaper writing and experience with quick, daily deadlines preferred. Familiarity with the ethanol and biodiesel/biofuels market a plus.
