Part Time Technical Writer
As the Technical Writer, you will manage, coordinate and implement the creation and edits of plan documents for our protection plan programs. Specifically, duties for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Coordinate inventory set-up of plan document in internal and external systems.
• Communicate print specs with print vendor (size, colors, etc.)
• Update plans and create templates as determined by Operations Director and required by Montage underwriter.
• Maintain detailed tracking system of document updates, reviews and approvals.
• Maintain quality control, consistency for all systems (online plans, direct mail, rep portal, internal database and printed plans).
• Work with graphic designer to develop additional back-up system for plan art.
• Run reports out of internal systems as needed.
• Write and edit external communications as needed.
• Create and maintain program details spreadsheets for all new and current MFS programs.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor\'s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university
• 1-2 years related experience and/or training
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Highly organized; with the ability to multi-task
