Take part in a technical writing team whose work directly affects the success of the company
Tackle \"marketing writing\" rather than conventional software documentation
Edit marketing documents and presentations that our clients want and will use often
Expand your editing repertoire by working on a variety of documents--anything from PowerPoints and white papers to interactive demos and Web sites
Help develop training presentations that will be showcased around the world
Work closely with our talented graphic design team to breathe life into dry charts and bulleted lists
Represent Advaiya at key client review meetings
Must Haves
Formal training in the theory of Technical Communication (Master\'s Degree preferred)
2+ years technical writing or editing experience
Sharp attention to detail
Proficiency at paring others\' writing into easily understandable chunks
Ability to collaborate effectively with others (Advaiya clients, graphic designers, subject matter experts, project managers)
Ability to meet multiple deadlines without supervision
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Word
Nice to Haves
Expert knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint
Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint
Experience collaborating with virtual teams
Familiarity with Microsoft MSTP
Prior work experience as a Microsoft FTE, contractor, or vendor
Experience applying technical writing principles to marketing writing
Experience writing API reference documentation
